CSI Students Reviews

Lenovo n22 pretty much the same as the touch screen. It has a nice battery life of 10-11 hours long. The color accuracy is a little off and it feels really small but it weighs more than the the touch screen and still has the pointless 360 degree camera.

Lenovo N22 touch: The lenovo N22 touch and the original one is exactly alike, except for the fact that it is touch screen. And in some cases that may be helpful and some people prefer to have the touch because it is 2 in 1. I like this chromebook but I do think both of these chromebooks are a bit small.

There is more of the chromebook that I didn’t like than I did like. I feel as in touch screen is useless for school use and increases the probability that the screens need to be replaced. I very rarely see people use the camera to begin with, so the 360 degree swivel camera is useless and it will most likely break faster than the C720. For as small of a computer as it is, it weighs almost 3 lbs for 11.6 in screen. The carrying handle feels flimsy. I enjoyed the response from the keyboard. 11.6 in screen is a good size for a school computer. The chromebook feels sturdy as a whole.

My first comment is going to be of course about how touchscreen is a great added design. I’d say this needs a fold over top because the keyboard is just weird to always have in front of you when using touchscreen. I’d give this one the best sound quality so it could be used to project to a class if necessary. The downside would be how much more expensive it is to repair/replace these builds. It could start to get irritating having to clean fingerprints off of the screen due to excess touching and smudging being easy to distribute.

The lenovo n22 is a okay chromebook. It has a hard case, it is durable, and the keyboard feels nice to type on. The camera is better quality than the original chromebooks. The spinning camera seems like it may break easy and cause a distraction. I did not get the opportunity to take it apart so i do not know how easy it is to fix. It is kinda bulky in your hands and may be easier to drop.

The N22 (touch screen) can be useful with the touchscreen but can also get dirty easier. The screen is a good size not too big not too small and it would be easier to carry around. But Just because it is a touch and its freshman getting them i feel they would be more rough with the screen. Also the flip camera could be a plus because you can turn it around to take pictures but also could get snapped off. But then again flipping the camera is easier than putting tape on it. Overall I think it is a good computer.

The Lenovo N22 Touch is pretty much the exact same thing as the normal N22, the only difference I saw was that the resolution looked slightly better than the normal N22 (probably because it’s a touchscreen). Other than that, it’s almost identical to the regular Lenovo N22. I found that the touchscreen was useful, but I don’t think that it’s a necessary feature for us to have. Also, I think that if it were to get damaged in any way, it would be much more expensive to fix or replace. Just ordering the extra screens to have on hand for repairs would cost much more than we would care to spend.

The Lenovo N22 Touch has a bright screen. The speakers aren’t clear and the video quality is alright. It is more sturdy, but at the same time its light weight being 2.7 pounds. The video camera rotates from front to rear facing. It could be broken easily. The keyboard is water resistant. The keyboard does seem a little small. The touch screen is a nice feature, but it might be hard to fix. It also has 14 hours of battery life.

The camera flips around so that could be bad because people may be also be taking pictures of others without their permission. The sound is bad. Its scratchy and not very loud at all. The keys get kinda sticky sometimes. The touch pad doesn't move very well.

This was an odd build to me mainly because I don’t like how small it is, like it’s just barely under what I’d give minimum requirement for size. I feel like the indent around the touchpad was a nice touch because now it gives your finger and edge to know is your drop off point. The movable camera is a nice touch but being reversible, it could prove to cause some problems with people taking unnecessary issues. The carry handle can be very useful as long as the connection is strong enough to handle students swinging it around due it being highly likely to happen. The speaker placement was an odd location in my opinion. The material used feels slick like it aims towards using the handle to prevent slipping.

Lenovo N22 Touch is cool because it's a touch screen. The flip camera is cool and it’s also difficult to take apart. The touch screen would be difficult to repair. I also don’t think high schoolers are responsible enough to take care of it.

The N22 sound is a lot clearer than the N42 but it seems a bit quieter. I like how there is a handle on the back of it so you don’t have to worry about dropping it without a case. It kinda looks like we would need a whole different kind of charger for it so any chargers we already have won’t work with it.

The Lenovo N22 Touch is a nice chromebook. Every school needs touchscreen chromebooks. Like others i am a big fan of the twisty camera and the screen resolution.  But, i am not a huge fan of the touch pad, and sound.  The chromebook is a great size, and i like how nice and quiet the keyboard is, it’s very appropriate for a classroom environment. Like most new chromebooks, very nice, hard, and sturdy plastic.

The Lenovo N22 Touch has 11.6” display, 16GB hard drive, weighs 4.1 lbs and Google Chrome. I like the handle on the chromebook because it's easier to transport. I dislike the small screen because it's not enough room to for multiple windows to be open. I like the rotating camera pictures from all angles. I like the touch screen cause it's easier access.

I like the screen, it’s brighter and more vibrant. It seems to me the internet is faster than old chromebooks. Keys are smaller and closer together makes it easier and faster to type. Touch pad is easy to handle but I feel like it's too sensitive to touch. I barely touch it and it starts reacting. It gets loud but I feel like you have to turn it all the way up to hear it and everything lower is same volume.  I don’t like how the camera rotates around I thinks it’s going to be a problem breaking down. Kids are gonna be able to turn camera around and take pictures and videos of others in class.  I think the border outline around screen should prevent screen damages it seems pretty thicker and secure.

I personally like the spinning camera on these chromebooks, but I don’t think it would be good for little kids to have because they will constantly play with it and it could get broken. The feature of it bending all the way flat is great for avoiding bending it too much and breaking it. The screen and the keyboard are both very small. This can hurt some people's eyes when they are trying to look at something smaller than it usually is. Finally it feels much more sturdy and durable than the chromebooks we have now. A did dislike is that there is a handle and it doesn’t seem very reliable at all.

The Lenovo N22 has a nice quality matte texture on the outside but it seems very slippery, the quality of the screen is very dim. The 180 degree camera is a great tool though for students who require to do informational videos to be done. The mousepad is very slick and not too sensitive to touch. The keys though, you have to press harder on them than most chromebooks.
