The N42 Chromebook is the biggest chromebook out of the 4. It is big and a nuisance to carry around school. It is way to hard to fix, it takes forever to get the back off. The bezel is flimsy and easy to break. It_has good battery life. You would also have to order all new parts. It is not the best option for a new chromebook.

I Really like the N42. It's more stable and sturdy so it breaks less. But it's harder to carry around the halls you could drop it. It's has a bigger screen and touchpad which is better. It's easier to fix. But the speakers aren't good at all.

The N42 is more of a college bound chromebook. I did not like the size of it, it was way too big, heavy and bulky to carry about the whole day. The sound was very muffled when I turned it all the way up and wasn't very loud. The keys also were sticky when typing and the feel of the keys were too slick. The sturdiness was very good, it didn't feel like it was going to break easy. The quality of the screen was impressive, very bright. I also liked that the camera didn’t move/rotate.

The size of the screen is enjoyable for watching videos. The keyboard is a bit too small for how big the rest of the chromebook is. The touchpad is more “touchy,” if that makes sense. The graphics quality is extremely nice compared to the ones we have now, and the larger screen helps that a lot. As expected, this newer chromebook connects to the internet faster than the older ones. The downsides to this chromebook, are its size, and the awkward key sizes.

I like how big the screen is, it's big enough to do almost anything, basically like a laptop. I also like how easy it looks to fix, that's a huge thing since there going to need to be fix often. I really don't like how heavy and bulky it is though. It would be difficult to carry around to every class too, so that's a negative. But it's very sturdy and I like how big the touch pad is, which is good for scrolling.

When reviewing the Lenovo N42, there were some things that I did like but there were also some things that I found to be a bit useless. The thing that I definitely noticed and liked right off the bat was the protective material that covers the entire laptop. I think that it’s definitely a step up from the Acer C720 chromebook normal plastic casing. The N42 appears to he far more durable and more resistant to scratches and looks less likely to get dirty when compared to the Acer chromebook. Although the casing seems to be more durable, it looks like it would be a hassle to take off in order to repair or replace parts within the laptop. I found that the keys were quieter, the screen resolution seemed to be sharper, and the touchpad was much more responsive when compared to the Acer chromebook. The only two big problems that I had with it was the sound quality of the speakers, which was just awful (it sounded like the Acer chromebooks but muffled), and the overall size of it.

This is way too big to carry around school, let alone outside of school, because a lot of kids have to walk home. It seems pretty solid and nice, I think it was practical, except the size of the computer. Instead of switching to these computers we should stick with a normal chromebook, or something like that, because this is a hefty big computer.

The Lenovo N42 was big. That size would be too big for students. They already have to carry multiple books, folders, note books, and textbooks. I do like that the keyboard is larger. It feels more durable. The video and sound quality were good. This one has 10 hours of battery life. The camera is 720p. We wouldn’t be able to use any of the same parts. Plus, the parts might be more expensive because it’s larger.

The first thing I noticed about this machine is how sturdy and well put together it all is. It is also much more aesthetically appealing compared to our current chromebooks we are using. The size of this Lenovo is quite bigger than our standard issue here at GHS, but that doesn’t mean that is a bad thing. Another notable and crucial piece of information that you must consider is that this chromebook is a real bore to repair. On the other hand, if it is built sturdier, there will be less need for repairs.

Most of the chromebooks we have now have 11.6 inch screens. The lenovo n42 is the biggest, having a 14 inch screen. I like how big the screen is because it’s easier to see little things and just is better for your eyes. But with the screen being so big it also makes the chromebook bigger. That causes problems because it makes it uncomfortable to carry the chromebook and your books because the chromebook is so much bigger than the books. It’s got good speakers that are clear and don't sound muffled. The HD is really good with its video and picture graphics. In my opinion I don't think it's a good chromebook to get because it takes up so much space and some of the other chromebooks offer better features.

This chromebook’s first impression on me would have to be the design to it, I think it’s pretty slick. If I were to compare the speed performance to the regular chromebooks, this one would top it for sure. I don’t agree with the size of the keyboard because it’s just too big and kind of awkward due to that. Although the screen is bigger producing an image I feel is more clear, the build is just too big in general for people to comfortably carry. The big build does increase it’s resistance as well as act more durable.

The Lenovo N42 is the best of the best chromebook. The screen is 14 inches. The design is very durable and it will not be easy to break and easy to fix. The screen is supposed to be very hard to crack also and it is cheaper than other screen but it is bigger which is a plus. The best thing about the chromebook is that it has up to 11 hours in battery life. It has a water resistant keyboard. It is right around 200 dollars.

The slightly larger brother of the lenovo N22 is the N42 model. Unlike the N22, the N42 model did away with the flippable webcam feature, helping its durability. The N42 is slightly larger than the N22, including a 14 inch screen compared to the N22’s 11.6 inch screen. As far as cost is concerned, the N42 is also slightly cheaper. All factors included, the N42 does not have any major negative features.

It's a bigger screen so it would be easier to see your work on the chromebook but also its to big to carry around, got a nice response to the keyboard it clicks when you press on the buttons, light weighs less than current chromebook, 2 usb ports so has the all same ports as current chromebook; not really needed but nice to have, touchpad is smooth glides real nice, auto correct is on top of things, sound is great loud and clear. The chromebook does not have a very good wifi connection; moves slower than current chromebook; looks like it would not be fun to take apart. Other than that it’s a nice chromebook, I could see some uses for this new chromebook

The lenovo N42 was kinda large. The thing I liked most about it was that is was big, but yet it was light. Many people didn’t like the big screen, but I thought it was cool because you could see more. Also the speakers weren’t the best but they were good, there’s probably going to be a very slim chance you will play music off of it. Unless you want to play music at your house. With the big bezel and the tough exterior it’s going to be really durable. The keyboard is nice to type on, you have more room, I like how big the touchpad is also. The camera is the same as the chromebooks we have now, but who uses the cameras now days? The only thing to really worry about with the Lenovo N42 is kids would think it’s just a little too big for some of the desk we have. For example, if you have the laptop on the desk and you have to write for english and you have to use notebook, the notebook won’t be able to fit and it would be hard to complete your homework.

The Lenovo N42’s size is considerably larger than the current chromebooks issued to the students. When watching educational videos, for school purposes, the speakers play quite well. The screen is 2 inches larger than the current chromebook, 14”. The price on Amazon Prime is less than this one. The hinges are rather stiff, it’s also not touch screen. The hinges allow it to flatten and because of that I believe that it will break easier.
